PLAYER UPDATE - ELKAN BAGGOTT

Former UK Football Scouting player Elkan Baggott who we placed at Ipswich Town as an Academy Player has joined Blackpool Football Club on loan! The 21-year-old defender joins the Seasiders from Premier League outfit Ipswich Town, having impressed in the second half of last season on loan at Bristol Rovers in Sky Bet League One.

An Indonesian international, Baggott came through the Ipswich Academy before gaining first-team minutes on loan at Kings Lynn, Gillingham, Cheltenham Town and the Gas.

The central defender has been capped 24 times by Indonesia and standing at six foot five inches tall, adds a commanding, physical presence to Pool’s backline ahead of the new season.

On joining the Seasiders, Baggott said:
